Race Dates and Course Info

The Sandy Ridge Spring Brake Super D Series will consist of three individual races occuring on March 20th, March 27th and April 3rd.  To mix things up and keep riders guessing, each race within the series will feature a brand new course. Course descriptions and maps will appear on this blog spot on the Monday prior to each race.

Crowning a Spring Brake Champion

The three race series will crown an over all champion in each category based upon a points system.  The point system will be 12 riders deep and is as follows: (15,12,10, 9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1).  An end of season raffle will take place with all racers who earned points as part of this series being entered to receive swag.

Race Categories and Start Times

The following categories will be recognized in the Sandy Ridge Spring Brake Series,

Racing starts at 12:00 noon., with riders leaving in 2 minute intervals. There will be a four minute break between cats. Racing will happen in the following order with Pro Men starting at noon

Pro Men (Open), Pro Women (Open), Cat 1 Men (19-39), Cat 1 Men (40+), Cat 2 Men (19-39), Cat 2 Men (40+), Cat 3 Men (Open), Cat 2 Jr. Men (13-18), Cat 2 Women (34 and under), Cat 2 Women (35+), Ridged Men (Open), Rigid Women (Open).

IMPORTANT All racers are expected to ride or push their bikes to the start gate. We strongly recommend that you give yourself at least an hour to navigate from street side parking to the start gate.
