Trail Building Volunteer Days

The BLM and NWTA have partnered to offer an eight event volunteer work party schedule at the Sandy Ridge Trail System.  Volunteers are encouraged to come out and lend a hand building new features and maintaining established sections of the existing system.

Volunteer Work Parties are scheduled for the following days (March 12th, April 9th, May 14th and June 4th). Work parties run from 9:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m. with amble opportunities to test out the work you did with a post event ride!

The More you participate the more you'll be eligible to win as part of the volunteer incentives program.  Volunteers earn one ticket for each event they attend (up to a maximum of eight) to be entered into a drawing after the June 3rd event.

Special thanks to the Fat Tire Farm and IBIS bicycles for stepping up and providing a phenomenal All Mountain Bike (IBIS Mojo HD) as the Grand Prize for this program.  The Mojo HD epitomizes the type of bike that the Sandy Ridge Trail System was designed around.
